Hozier’s Firm Reports €6.29 Million Profit Surge in 2024

Accumulated profits at Hozier’s entertainment company, Haskey Ltd, soared to €6.29 million in 2024, driven by remarkable annual earnings and significant milestones in the artist’s career. The company’s newly filed accounts reveal that post-tax profits reached €1.59 million, marking a threefold increase from €467,946 in 2023.
Hozier’s success was buoyed by his first-ever Ireland and UK Number 1 single, “Too Sweet,” which achieved this milestone in April 2024. This achievement followed his earlier success in August 2023, when he secured his first Number 1 album in the UK with “Unreal Unearth.” The single “Too Sweet” has amassed an impressive 1.67 billion streams on Spotify, highlighting the global appeal of the artist.
Record-Breaking Performances and Tours
In 2024, Hozier also captivated audiences with sold-out performances, including a show at Dublin’s Marlay Park on July 5 and another at Finsbury Park in London on July 7, which was his largest UK show to date. These performances were part of a busy tour schedule that followed his previous success in 2023, where he sold over 1 million tickets for his headline tour. Notably, three December shows at Dublin’s 3Arena generated €1.74 million at the box office.
Looking ahead, Hozier is set to perform at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Canada, next Wednesday and has scheduled tour dates in the US and Mexico extending into October.
Financial Overview and Company Growth
The financial statements indicate robust growth for Haskey Ltd, with directors’ pay more than doubling to €204,118, up from €99,704 in the previous year. This compensation consisted of €104,118 in emoluments and €100,000 in pension contributions, which were not recorded in 2023.
The company’s cash reserves also saw a significant increase, rising from €567,121 to €738,617. The value of tangible assets jumped from €1.94 million to €5.03 million, bolstered by the addition of freehold property valued at €3.29 million. A note attached to the accounts indicates that this property is not currently depreciated in value.
Furthermore, Haskey Ltd enhanced its financial assets by €217,778, culminating in a total book value of €2.47 million by the end of 2024. The corporation tax owed also rose significantly to €200,091 from €10,513 one year earlier.
At the close of the year, the amount owed by the firm to Hozier increased from €100,576 to €1.94 million. Hozier, who turned 35 this year, previously left Trinity College Dublin to pursue a career in music, a decision that has clearly paid off.
This outstanding financial performance underscores the continued popularity and commercial viability of Hozier as an artist, reflecting a successful year for both him and his company.
