Kim Kardashian Remains Determined to Become a Lawyer After Bar Exam Setback
Kim Kardashian has reaffirmed her commitment to becoming a lawyer despite recently failing the bar exam. In a candid Instagram post, the reality television star and entrepreneur expressed her determination to continue her legal journey. Kardashian, who portrays a lawyer in the television series All’s Fair, stated, “Well… I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV.”
After her setback, Kardashian emphasized her resolve to overcome the challenge. She noted, “Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up – just more studying and even more determination.”
In her post, the 45-year-old entrepreneur shared her perspective on failure, describing it as a source of motivation. She wrote, “Falling short isn’t failure – it’s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let’s go!!!!”
Kardashian, known for her role in the reality show The Kardashians, previously passed her “baby bar” exam in 2021 after four attempts. Earlier this year, she announced her graduation from a law program, aspiring to follow in the footsteps of her late father, Robert Kardashian, who was part of the defense team for OJ Simpson during the infamous trial.
In a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, she shared her hopes of practicing law and expressed a desire to transition away from her celebrity persona. “In ten years’ time, I may give up being Kim K and become a trial lawyer instead,” Kardashian indicated.
Kardashian’s legal aspirations coincide with her work in the entertainment industry. In addition to her television role, she co-founded the shapewear brand Skims and stars alongside notable actresses such as Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, and Sarah Paulson in All’s Fair. The show, which focuses on a group of female divorce lawyers establishing their own practice, has received mixed reviews, with some critics labeling it as “the worst show of the year” according to the Irish Independent.
Despite facing challenges in both her legal and entertainment careers, Kardashian’s unwavering determination highlights her commitment to achieving her goals. As she continues her journey, her supporters remain hopeful for her future success in the legal field.
