Sales Assistant Position

In addition to the Pharmacy Technician role, the pharmacy is also searching for a friendly and enthusiastic Sales Assistant. This position is ideal for individuals who are committed to providing outstanding customer service and supporting both dispensary and front shop operations.

Responsibilities for the Sales Assistant include:

– Greeting and assisting customers in a professional manner.
– Handling sales of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and healthcare products in accordance with pharmacy protocols.
– Providing knowledge and recommendations on health and wellness products.
– Maintaining stock levels, including receiving deliveries and checking expiry dates.
– Ensuring that the shop floor and displays are clean, tidy, and well-presented.
– Assisting the pharmacist and team with daily tasks as needed, while adhering to company and PSI guidelines.

Candidates should have prior experience in pharmacy retail, particularly with OTC medicines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as is a friendly and approachable demeanor. Flexibility and the ability to work effectively within a team are also important.

Both positions are located in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, with working hours from 09:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday.
