Analog Devices Contributes €170,000 to Community Initiatives

Analog Devices (ADI) has made a significant contribution of €170,000 to support a total of 50 local community initiatives across Limerick and other cities in Ireland. This donation marks the highest total amount and the largest number of recipients since the inception of the ADI Ireland Community Awards in 2017. The initiative underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to positively impact the communities where it operates, including major urban areas such as Limerick, Cork, and Dublin.

The funding is allocated across three award categories: Gold, Silver, and Bronze, with each tier representing varying levels of financial support aimed at addressing diverse community needs. The five recipients of the Gold award, each receiving €10,000, include notable organizations such as the Iris House Cork Cancer Support Centre, ALONE, St Vincent’s Special School, Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, and Milford Care Centre in Limerick. These organizations have been recognized for their vital roles in providing essential services and support within their communities.

In addition, ten Silver award recipients, each granted €5,000, include a range of impactful organizations. Among them are Kaer Communications Limerick, West Cork Rapid Response, Brú Columbanus Cork, Liskennett Equestrian Therapy Centre, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Galway Hospice, St. Anne’s Special School Ennis, Enable Ireland, and Blood Bike Mid West. These partners are particularly focused on enhancing health and social services in their respective regions.

The Bronze awards, comprising 35 grants of €2,000 each, have been distributed among schools, sporting clubs, and social enterprises. This funding enables these entities to improve their activities and expand their outreach efforts within their communities.

The selection process for these awards was driven by employee engagement, with staff from ADI’s sites in Limerick, Cork, and Dublin encouraged to nominate local organizations that resonate with them personally. This approach resulted in an impressive total of over 200 nominations, reflecting the deep connections between the company and the communities it serves.
