Fashion Fan Highlights Dunnes Stores’ Summer Essential Co-ord

A fashion enthusiast has showcased a “classy and elegant” cream co-ord from Dunnes Stores, drawing attention to its stylish appeal and affordable price of €50. Alia Gea, who shares her fashion finds on Instagram under the handle @aliageagea, recently highlighted the new arrival, which includes the Carolyn Donnelly The Edit Cotton Baggy Trousers.
The trousers, which are available in sizes ranging from 8 to 18, feature an elasticated waistband and two pockets, making them a practical choice for summer wear. Alia expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Summer essentials: Two-piece cream trousers and waistcoat from Dunnes Stores. She’s a Dunnes Hun. Obsessed with this outfit; it feels classy but also elegant and comfortable!”
Stylish Features of the Co-ord
Alia paired the trousers with a matching cream waistcoat, although this item is currently unavailable on the Dunnes Stores website. It may still be found in physical stores across the country. Her followers have responded positively, with comments praising the ensemble, with one user declaring, “Looking like moneyyyyy,” while another remarked, “It’s gorgeous.”
As the summer season transitions into autumn, Dunnes Stores has also introduced a new knit co-ord set that has captured the attention of shoppers. This set includes the Soft Knit Short Sleeve Top priced at €15 and the Soft Knit A-Line Midi Skirt at €18. Both items can be purchased separately and come in two elegant colors: burgundy and cream.
Dunnes Stores: A Retail Legacy
Dunnes Stores, which opened its first shop in Cork, Ireland in 1944, has established a strong reputation over the decades. The store quickly became popular for offering quality clothing at affordable prices, sparking what was considered Ireland’s first “shopping frenzy.” Founder Ben Dunne emphasized “Better Value” in his offerings, which included an initial range of grocery items starting with fruits in the 1960s.
Over the years, Dunnes Stores has significantly expanded, with its first Dublin outlet opening in 1957 and a Northern Irish store following in 1971. Today, the retailer boasts 142 stores across various regions, employing around 15,000 people and continuing to uphold its commitment to value.
The introduction of stylish, affordable clothing options like the cream co-ord and the new knit set reflects Dunnes Stores’ ongoing dedication to meeting the fashion needs of its customers while maintaining a strong connection to its roots in quality and affordability.
