The event took place at the historic Bulgaden Castle, drawing members of the community and former players eager to relive cherished memories from a significant moment in the club’s history.
The evening was filled with nostalgia, as attendees reminisced about the remarkable journey that led to the championship win. Speeches from club officials highlighted the achievements of the players and the impact of the victory on the local community. The celebration not only recognized past accomplishments but also aimed to inspire the next generation of hurling enthusiasts.
In addition to the speeches, the event featured various activities and entertainment, fostering a sense of community among the attendees. Former players shared their experiences and reflections, creating an atmosphere rich in camaraderie and local pride. The night served as a reminder of the enduring spirit of Kilmallock GAA and its role in promoting hurling in the region.
As part of the celebration, the club is encouraging local residents to share their own photographs that capture life in the area. The club has opened submissions for images that reflect special occasions, everyday moments, and the beauty of the locality. Interested individuals can visit the Camera Club page on the Kilmallock GAA website to upload their photos.
