Christmas FM Launches Tomorrow, Spreading Holiday Joy 24/7
URGENT UPDATE: Christmas FM is set to return tomorrow, November 28, 2025, bringing 24/7 festive music to listeners across Ireland. Starting at 12:00 PM, fans can tune in to enjoy their favorite holiday tunes while supporting a worthy cause.
As the countdown to Christmas Day begins, Christmas FM is ready to spread holiday cheer and raise funds for children in need. This year, the station continues its beloved ‘The Magic of Christmas’ initiative, aiming to raise €1 million for charities including Barnardos, Barretstown, and Make-A-Wish Ireland. The fundraising efforts have already garnered over €4 million since its inception, helping to provide joy and support to countless children.
Christmas FM co-founder Garvan Rigby expressed excitement, stating, “We’re absolutely thrilled to share that Christmas FM is back to Switch Christmas On across Ireland for 2025.” The station, now in its 18th year on air, emphasizes the importance of community and volunteer support, showcasing contributions from local schools, including the first class of St. Peter’s National School in Dunboyne, Co. Meath.
Listeners can access the station via traditional FM, smart speakers, and online platforms, ensuring that Christmas music is just a request away. For those wishing to tune in, the main FM frequencies will be available on Channel 900 for Virgin Media Digital TV subscribers and through the eir TV service.
In addition to festive tunes, Christmas FM will feature familiar voices volunteering their time to uplift spirits and unite communities. Major sponsors for this year’s broadcast include An Post, Cadbury, and Coca-Cola, who continue to support the station’s mission.
With the holiday season upon us, the station encourages donations to ensure that every child can experience the magic of Christmas. Rigby notes, “Every child deserves Magic at Christmas,” highlighting the emotional impact of their mission.
As the station prepares for its launch, excitement builds across social media, urging fans to share the news widely. Tune in tomorrow at noon to kick off the holiday season with Christmas FM—where the spirit of giving and festive joy come together for a noble cause.
