Tom Shearman, a Gloucestershire Police officer, lost his family in the devastating blaze that occurred on December 26, 2025, claiming the lives of his wife Fionnghuala ‘Nu’ Shearman, their seven-year-old daughter Eve, four-year-old son Ohner, and their family dog, Hutch.

In a heartfelt message shared on a GoFundMe page organized by friends and family, Tom stated he is “genuinely humbled beyond comprehension” by the kindness shown to him during his “darkest of hours.” He wrote about the profound anguish and trauma experienced from the fire that ripped apart the very essence of his family.
