Food Vlogger Calls Piper’s Takeaway the Best Fish and Chips in Dublin
UPDATE: A food reviewer known as “Ireland’s most honest food reviewer” has just declared Piper’s Takeaway in Portrane, Dublin, as the best fish and chips he has ever tasted. The shocking revelation comes as he was left stunned by the “ridiculously cheap” bill for his meal.
Content creator Paul_IsItWorthIt has sampled numerous chippers across Ireland, but he emphasized that this particular venue exceeded all expectations. With hundreds of requests from followers to review Piper’s, he finally made the trip and recorded his reactions.
After placing his order, which included fresh cod for €8, chips at €3.50, and curry sauce for €3.50, Paul was taken aback by the total, expecting a much higher price. He exclaimed, “That is ridiculously cheap!”
As he tasted the food, Paul was overwhelmed by the quality. Describing the chips as “exceptionally fresh” and “delicious,” he noted their perfect crispiness and smaller size compared to typical takeaway portions. “I can already tell this is unbelievable just from looking at it,” he remarked, inspecting the fish closely.
After confirming the flavor lived up to its impressive appearance, he declared, “Oh my god, that is unbelievable. This will bring a tear to your eye this level of fish.” His enthusiasm was palpable as he admitted he was tempted to stop filming to simply enjoy the meal.
Despite his reputation for honest assessments, Paul praised the fish: “Big meaty bit of fish. Delicious. Fresh. Salt and vinegar is lovely on it. I think that is the best I’ve had in Dublin.” He noted some minor critiques, calling the curry sauce a bit thin but complimenting its taste.
In a final assessment, Paul awarded Piper’s Takeaway an impressive score of 9.6 out of 10, stating, “It is an absolutely massive score. It is the best in Dublin so far.” He remarked that while there may be better options around Ireland, for Dublin, Piper’s is unmatched.
The review has ignited excitement among viewers, with one fan commenting, “Pipers deserve this type of review. Been serving quality food for decades and always reasonable.” Another user expressed disbelief at the high score, saying, “Wow 9.6! Now that’s a hell of a score. I’ll have to put that on my bucket list.”
As the video gains traction, food lovers across Dublin are now eager to experience what Paul has hailed as the best fish and chips in the capital. For those looking for a meal that promises both quality and affordability, Piper’s is definitely the place to visit.
