New Flights and Luxury Hotels Launch for Irish Travelers in 2026

URGENT UPDATE: Major travel developments are set to transform the Irish travel market in 2026 as new flight routes and luxury accommodations are announced. Eoghan Corry, Editor of Travel Extra, revealed to RTÉ that both Ryanair and Aer Lingus are launching flights to exciting new American and European destinations, making travel more accessible for Irish citizens.

Starting this year, Aer Lingus will initiate direct flights to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, following a significant sponsorship deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
