New Lotto Millionaire Emerges in East Limerick with €1,000,500 Win

BREAKING: East Limerick is celebrating a new millionaire this Sunday morning, following a stunning win in the Saturday night Lotto Plus Raffle. A lucky player in the parish of Cappamore struck gold with a winning ticket worth an astounding €1,000,500, purchased just hours before the draw at Centra on Moore Street.
Store owner Mark Lenihan expressed his excitement, stating, “We’re absolutely delighted – this is huge for us, for the team, and for Cappamore!” This marks the first major National Lottery win for the store. “To think that a life-changing ticket was sold right here in our store is just incredible. Massive congratulations to the winner – we’re thrilled for you and wish you all the very best!”
The Lotto Plus Raffle typically awards between 60 and 120 winners with €500 each. However, Saturday night’s draw introduced a special event: all tickets with the winning raffle number were entered into a unique random draw, leading to one lucky ticket holder winning an additional €1,000,000. In total, 81 ticket holders with the winning number received the standard €500 prize, but one fortunate player in Limerick walked away with the life-changing total of €1,000,500. The winning raffle number is 3184.
Notably, the excitement didn’t stop there. A player from Dublin also claimed a significant prize, winning the Match Five + Bonus worth €404,840 with a ticket purchased on September 4, 2024, from Spar at 13 South Circular Road.
Winners are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets and keep them secure. They should contact the prize claims team at 1800 666 222 or via email at [email protected] to arrange collection of their life-changing prizes at Lottery HQ.
The National Lottery emphasizes that nearly 30 cent of every euro spent on games goes back to Good Causes, supporting sectors such as sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language. Since its establishment 37 years ago, over €6.5 billion has been raised for these causes. In 2024 alone, €239.3 million was generated for local Good Causes across communities in Ireland.
With the thrill of this win, Cappamore is abuzz, and the community is rallying together to celebrate this life-altering moment.
Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development!
