UPDATE: In a thrilling showdown, The Jukebox Man has just clinched victory in the prestigious King George VI Chase at Kempton Park, delighting owner Harry Redknapp. The race, held earlier today on December 26, 2025, showcased an intense battle among a quality field of eight horses, with fans on the edge of their seats.

The Jukebox Man, trained by Ben Pauling, was positioned behind the pacesetter Il Est Francais for most of the three-mile race. As the competitors approached the final bend, the excitement peaked when Ben Jones guided The Jukebox Man to the front. However, four contenders still had a shot at glory, including last year’s champion, Banbridge.

“It’s something very special. Harry has been an exceptional owner for me,” Pauling stated post-race. “This is the best we’ve achieved to date. This is good, a pretty good Christmas present!”

As they jumped the final fence, The Jukebox Man held a narrow lead, ultimately winning by a nose against Banbridge, who fought valiantly until the end. Gaelic Warrior and Jango Baie also made strong showings, highlighting the race’s competitive nature.

Redknapp expressed his joy, saying, “That’s a dream and to have a horse that good is unbelievable. I love the game… to have the winner is special.” His excitement resonated among the fans, many of whom celebrated the victory on social media.

Meanwhile, in another significant race at Kempton, Kitzbuhel delivered a stunning performance in the Ladbrokes Kauto Star Novices’ Chase, marking Willie Mullins’ first win in this event. This horse, previously a Grade Three-winning hurdler, showcased impressive agility and speed, dominating the field from the start.

As the festive racing season continues, the triumph of The Jukebox Man not only brings joy to Redknapp and his team but also adds excitement for fans of the sport. Racing enthusiasts will be keenly watching the next events to see if this victory will pave the way for further successes.
