Urgent Update: Man in His 30s Dies in Galway Crash at 4:30 AM
URGENT UPDATE: A man in his 30s has tragically died following a road traffic collision in County Galway early this morning. The incident occurred around 4:30 AM on a local road in Lavally, just outside Tuam.
Emergency services pronounced the driver dead at the scene, and his body has since been transported to University Hospital Galway for a post-mortem examination. Authorities are currently conducting a technical examination of the road, which remains closed to all traffic. Diversions are in place to help manage the situation.
Gardaí are urgently appealing to witnesses of the collision. They are particularly interested in speaking with any road users who may have dash-cam footage recorded between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM on the L2107 road. This footage could be crucial to the ongoing investigation.
