Maduro Guerra, who is also known as ‘Nicolasito,’ claimed on January 8, 2024, that both his father and stepmother, Cilia Flores, are victims of kidnapping. He pledged allegiance to the acting president, Delcy Rodriguez, stating, “Count on me and count on my family to take the right steps.”

The US indictment against Maduro Guerra and his family alleges serious charges, including narcotics trafficking and conspiracy to use military-grade weapons against the United States.

The indictment, unveiled by Pam Bondi, the US Attorney General, names Maduro Guerra alongside his father and Flores as defendants in a case linked to a narco-terrorism conspiracy.
