Quark Expeditions Unveils ‘This is Polar’ Competition for Travel Advisors

Quark Expeditions has launched its new competition, titled “This is Polar,” aimed at travel advisors across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The initiative offers a unique opportunity for participants to win an Arctic voyage, coinciding with Quark’s Wave Season savings program. This promotion allows clients to save up to $2,000 while providing travel advisors the chance to secure a place on the esteemed 11-day Svalbard Explorer: Best of Arctic Norway voyage, scheduled from June 7 to June 17, 2026.

Aimed at enhancing the engagement of travel advisors, this initiative recognizes their vital role in promoting polar expeditions. “Travel Advisors are essential to helping guests discover the magic of the polar regions,” stated Sebastian Canape, Trade Marketing Director at Quark Expeditions. He emphasized that the campaign is designed to reward advisors with meaningful incentives, allowing them to experience Svalbard, often referred to as the “Wildlife Capital of the Arctic,” through the lens of Quark’s expert team.

Grand Prize and Entry Details

Six travel advisors will be selected as winners, each representing the various participating regions. They will join a Quark Expeditions team member for an immersive exploration of Svalbard aboard one of the company’s state-of-the-art polar vessels. These vessels are specifically designed to bring guests closer to the breathtaking and remote landscapes that characterize the Arctic.

To enter the competition, advisors must register for the “This is Polar Competition,” which runs from December 16, 2025March 31, 2026. Participants can accumulate points through various activities, increasing their chances of winning. The entry methods include earning points for repeat passenger bookings, Arctic 2026 bookings, and general bookings, as well as attending a Wave Season webinar and completing the PolarPRO training module.

The point system is structured as follows:
– Repeat passenger booking: 5 entries per passenger
– Arctic 2026 booking: 3 entries per passenger
– Any other booking: 2 entries per passenger
– Attendance at the Wave Season webinar: 1 entry
– Completion of PolarPRO: 1 entry

Advisors can submit multiple entries based on the points they accumulate, enhancing their odds of embarking on this exclusive Arctic voyage.
