Robbie Williams’ Croke Park Concert: Key Info You Need NOW!

URGENT UPDATE: Robbie Williams is set to electrify Croke Park in Dublin this weekend as part of his highly anticipated BRITPOP tour, kicking off on August 23rd. Following the success of his biopic Better Man, the pop icon will perform fan-favorite hits, drawing massive crowds eager to experience his live performance.
Gates open at 5 PM, and attendees are urged to enter through the specified gates on their tickets. Those with blue route tickets will enter via Jones’ Road, while red route attendees should head to St James’ Avenue. The yellow route goes through St Margaret’s Avenue, and green route fans can enter via Foster Terrace.
In an exciting twist, popular band Elbow will support Robbie Williams, along with special guests The Lottery Winners. As of now, limited tickets remain available through Ticketmaster, so fans should act quickly to secure their spots.
To avoid delays, concertgoers are advised to plan their travel well in advance, allowing at least an extra two hours for travel to and from the venue. Traffic and parking congestion are anticipated, leading promoters to recommend alternatives such as walking, cycling, or using public transport. Note that no transportation services are provided by the promoters.
For those taking public transport, the nearest DART stations are Connolly Station and Clontarf Road. Multiple Dublin Bus routes, including 1, 6, 7(a), 13, and 40, will also service the event.
Parking around Croke Park is highly restricted due to residential areas. Attendees are reminded not to park illegally, as vehicles may be clamped or removed. For those who must drive, consider parking at O’Connell Schools’ Supervised Car Park or Q-Park at The Spire.
Concertgoers should be aware of strict security measures. The event is for individuals aged over 14, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Essential identification—such as a passport or driver’s license—is required upon entry.
Due to health and safety protocols, attendees are strictly prohibited from bringing camping chairs, large bags, glass, alcohol, and other specified items. A comprehensive list of prohibited items is available at www.mcd.ie. Soft collapsible water skins are allowed in seated blocks, but no personal bottles will be permitted.
As excitement builds for Robbie Williams’ performance, fans are encouraged to share this vital information to ensure a smooth and enjoyable concert experience. Stay tuned for updates as the event approaches!
