Limerick Students Brace for Leaving Certificate Results Tomorrow

UPDATE: Thousands of Limerick students are set to receive their Leaving Certificate exam results tomorrow, August 25, at 10am. After weeks of anticipation, approximately 3,000 students across Limerick will log into a dedicated portal or open envelopes to discover their grades, which will play a critical role in their future educational paths.
Students in Limerick and nationwide have been eagerly awaiting this moment, as results will determine their next steps in life. Local schools will also provide opportunities for students to discuss their results with teachers, adding a personal touch to this pivotal day.
Nationally, it is estimated that over 60,000 students have sat the Leaving Certificate exams this year. Students can access their highly anticipated results through the candidate self-service portal, which opens at 10am on Friday. This portal will allow students to view their results and obtain a statement of their provisional results.
Those who applied for third-level education courses will be particularly attentive, as CAO Round One offers will be released next week on August 26. This is when students will find out if their results grant them a place in their desired college courses.
Additionally, the application window to view Leaving Certificate scripts opens at 5pm on the same day, closing at 8pm on August 27. This allows students to further engage with their results and understand their performance in detail.
On August 27, at 2pm, CAO offers will be available online to all applicants based on school leaving examination results, regardless of the year completed. Following this, the CAO Available Places facility will open at noon on the following day, providing opportunities for students to fill unfilled spots in specific courses.
With the clock ticking down, students are filled with a mix of excitement and anxiety. This moment is not just about grades; it’s about dreams, aspirations, and the next chapter of their lives. As the countdown continues, Limerick students are reminded that their futures are just a login away.
