During the 37th Annual Virtuoso Travel Week, held in August 2025, Virtuoso recognized Regent Hotels & Resorts with two prestigious awards. The accolades highlight Regent’s excellence in luxury hospitality, affirming its status as a leader in the upper luxury travel sector. These awards are determined by votes from Virtuoso advisors, boards, and committees, celebrating the most outstanding partners in the travel industry.
Matthew D. Upchurch, Chairman and CEO of Virtuoso, emphasized the importance of integrity, service, and memorable experiences in luxury travel. “The Virtuoso Awards celebrate those who are shaping the future of luxury travel,” he stated. Upchurch noted that Regent exemplifies the commitment and innovation that enriches lives through travel and human connection.
As part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, Regent Hotels has experienced significant growth since its reimagining in 2020.
