Urgent Appeal After Early Morning Burglary in Ballylanders

UPDATE: A business burglary in Ballylanders, County Limerick, is now under urgent investigation by local authorities. At approximately 3:10 AM on August 12, 2023, thieves broke into a business on Main Street by smashing the front window, according to Sergeant Michelle O’Halloran, the Crime Prevention Officer for Limerick.
The perpetrators fled the scene in a small, light-coloured vehicle, prompting an immediate appeal from Gardai for any information that could assist in their investigation. Sergeant O’Halloran emphasized the need for public assistance, stating, “You may prevent a crime from occurring.”
Authorities are particularly interested in any potential dash cam footage from the area around the time of the incident. Residents or visitors who may have witnessed suspicious activity are urged to come forward.
