Urgent Murder Investigation Launched in Co Down After Body Found

URGENT UPDATE: Police in Northern Ireland have initiated a murder investigation following the discovery of a man’s body in Co Down. The grim finding was reported around 10:30 PM last night in the Slievenabrock Avenue area of Newcastle.
Authorities are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with information to step forward immediately. In a statement, Detective Chief Inspector Kerrie Foreman acknowledged the potential shock and concern this incident may cause within the tight-knit Newcastle community. “Local people will see our officers in and around the area – with cordons still in place today,” Foreman noted.
As police investigations progress, they urge anyone who may have relevant information, including dashcam or doorbell footage, to contact them.
