BREAKING: A major partnership has just been confirmed between Irish audio-visual company Sound to Light and Connacht Rugby, securing Sound to Light as the preferred AV provider for events at the redeveloped Dexcom Stadium. This landmark five-year agreement was announced earlier today and is set to elevate the standard of event experiences in the West of Ireland.
The newly revamped Dexcom Stadium, expected to open in early 2026, will not only serve as a premier sporting venue but also as a multi-purpose event space capable of accommodating up to 4,000 guests. This strategic collaboration underscores Connacht Rugby’s commitment to delivering world-class events that meet the demands of businesses and organizations globally.
“Sound to Light has grown into one of Ireland’s leading AV suppliers, a legacy now reflected in this new five-year agreement with Connacht Rugby,” said Dani Collins-Hadley, Co-Director of Sound to Light. This partnership continues a successful history, as the company has previously provided top-notch AV services for key events, including the annual Connacht Rugby Awards.
The Dexcom Stadium will become the “go-to venue” for conferences and indoor events, enhancing Galway’s status as an international destination for business and professional gatherings. This agreement will ensure that future clients benefit from exceptional AV solutions, providing seamless experiences for events of all sizes.

With a dedicated network of technicians, the company has managed projects at Ireland’s most prestigious venues, including the Lions Rugby Tour and the Global Economic Summit.
Dani Collins-Hadley highlighted their commitment to sustainability, noting the recent renewal of their EcoMerit Environmental Certification. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Sustainable Tourism and Events, reflecting the company’s dedication to creating greener event solutions.
As the Dexcom Stadium prepares for its grand opening, this partnership promises to transform the landscape of events in the region. With modern facilities and innovative AV technology, the venue is poised to attract a wide array of business and community events, solidifying its role as a year-round destination.
