In light of the collision, An Garda Síochána has initiated an investigation and is appealing for witnesses. Authorities are particularly interested in any camera footage from road users who were in the area between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on the morning of the crash. A spokesperson for the Garda stated, “Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.”
