Allie Sherlock Launches Europe Tour, Building on Viral Fame

URGENT UPDATE: Singer-songwriter Allie Sherlock is set to launch her highly anticipated Damage Control tour across Europe, kicking off with several UK dates starting October 22, 2023. This tour comes after her stunning rise from a street performer to a social media sensation with millions of followers, captivating audiences worldwide.
Sherlock, who began her music career busking at just 11 years old in her native Cork and on Grafton Street in Dublin, has shared the stage with major artists including Macklemore and The Script. Her viral success has transformed her from a local performer to an international sensation, with her upcoming tour marking her biggest venture yet.
In an exclusive interview, Allie expressed her excitement, stating, “I’m really looking forward to the tour. It’s going to be even double the size of what I did with Macklemore.” Fans can catch her live at venues including O2 Academy 2 in Liverpool on October 22, Key Club in Leeds on October 23, and Bush Hall in London on October 29.
Allie continues to stay connected with her roots, maintaining her love for busking. “I still do it every Saturday and Sunday. It’s just the whole community up there,” she shared, emphasizing the joy of performing for her local fans. Despite her growing fame, she cherishes the intimate experience of street performance.
The title track of her tour, Damage Control, reflects her personal struggles with expressing emotions. “It’s something I go through every day… I know a lot of people can relate to it,” Allie explained. This deep connection with her audience has fueled her passion for music, making her performances resonate on a profound level.
Allie’s journey has not been without challenges. She faced bullying, which led to her being homeschooled, and she tragically lost her mother at nine. These experiences have shaped her music and provided a rich well of inspiration for her songwriting. “Writing music just helps you get it out of your system,” she said, highlighting the therapeutic power of her art.
In a standout moment, Allie recalled her experience of supporting Macklemore, stating, “I had tickets to go see him, and when I got the email to perform with him, I thought it was a fake email.” The excitement of performing for a large crowd continues to drive her passion.
As she prepares for her tour, Allie is also set to release new music, including a cover of “Ordinary” by Alex Warren and a new single about navigating relationships. “It’s about a guy that was a little bit too clingy for me,” she described, revealing her relatable songwriting style.
Allie also actively engages with her dedicated fanbase, some of whom have traveled internationally to sing with her. “It’s beautiful, it’s amazing,” she said, reflecting on the depth of connection she shares with her supporters.
The Damage Control tour promises to be a thrilling experience for fans. With her unique blend of emotional storytelling and powerful performances, Allie Sherlock is poised to make waves across Europe this October.
