Kingfishr Adds Extra Summer 2026 Concert Dates Amid Surge in Demand

URGENT UPDATE: Limerick-based band Kingfishr has just announced additional tour dates for Summer 2026 following an overwhelming demand for tickets. Their debut album, ‘Halcyon’, skyrocketed to #1 on the Irish album charts after its release on August 22, with hit singles ‘Killeagh’ and ‘Diamonds and Roses’ reaching #1 and #3 on the singles chart.
The trio, freshly off their electrifying performance at Electric Picnic, is set to expand their Irish tour with two new concert dates. Fans can now look forward to seeing Kingfishr perform at St. Anne’s Park, Dublin on June 5, 2026, and the SSE Arena in Belfast on June 8, 2026. St. Anne’s Park, boasting a capacity of over 20,000, will host the band’s largest headline show to date.
This announcement comes after their earlier shows at Malahide Castle on June 13 and the SSE Arena in Belfast on June 9 sold out rapidly. The new dates now mean Kingfishr is expected to perform to an astounding 109,000 fans over eight days, marking a monumental rise for the band since their formation in 2022.
With their growing popularity, the band is also set to embark on a European tour in November, where many dates have already sold out. Additionally, they will support country music star Dylan Gossett in the US throughout September before launching their own headline tour in October.
Tickets for the newly added shows in Dublin and Belfast will go on sale this Friday, September 5 at 10 AM. Prices for the Cork and Dublin gigs range from €59.90 to €69.90, subject to Ticketmaster charges.
Fans who missed out on previous tickets now have an exciting opportunity to witness the rise of Kingfishr as they prepare for their biggest concerts yet in front of enthusiastic Irish crowds. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary musical journey!
