Siro and Vodafone Launch Roscrea’s New Enterprise Hub Today
UPDATE: Siro and Vodafone have been confirmed as the official connectivity partners for Reach, Roscrea’s brand-new **Enterprise Hub**, announced today, September 4, 2025. This cutting-edge facility is set to transform the local business landscape by providing essential connectivity and workspace for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Located in the heart of **Roscrea**, Reach marks the **25th hub** to join the **Gigabit Hub Initiative**, a project aimed at enhancing digital infrastructure across the region. This initiative includes successful hubs like Dundalk’s **Creative Spark**, Galway’s **PorterShed**, and Skibbereen’s **Ludgate Hub**.
With **11 private offices**, **10 hot desks**, and communal workspaces, Reach is designed to accommodate a diverse range of business needs, from start-ups and freelancers to expanding SMEs. It is already attracting key organizations that are pivotal to regional growth, such as the **Tipperary Education and Training Board** and **Herdwatch**, a Roscrea-founded agri-tech firm revolutionizing livestock management across Ireland and the UK.
Brendan Hyland, chairperson of Reach, expressed his pride in the project, stating,
“This project has taken many hours of dedication from the Board and supporters. Today, we are proud to stand in a modern, future-proof building that will attract enterprise and innovation to Roscrea.”
He emphasized the hub’s role as a flagship of innovation and renewal in the community.
The establishment of Reach has been significantly supported by over €2.3 million from the **Rural Regeneration and Development Fund**, alongside an additional €774,000 from **Tipperary County Council**. This financial backing underscores the importance of fostering business development in rural areas.
As the hub opens its doors, it is poised to become a critical driver of economic growth in Roscrea, providing vital resources for local entrepreneurs, SMEs, and remote workers. Residents and business owners alike are encouraged to take advantage of this state-of-the-art facility, which promises to enhance connectivity and collaboration within the community.
Stay tuned for more updates as Reach officially opens and begins transforming the business landscape in Roscrea. This initiative not only represents a significant investment in the local economy but also a commitment to fostering innovation and sustainable growth in the region.
