Traitors Ireland Cast Sparks Outrage with Short Late Late Show Interview
UPDATE: Viewers of RTÉ’s Late Late Show are expressing their frustration following a brief interview with the cast of Traitors Ireland on the evening of October 27, 2023. Contestants Katelyn, Andrew, Christine, and Paudie, all eliminated from the reality series, appeared on the popular talk show but only received a few minutes to share their insights.
The four players discussed their experiences and offered predictions on potential winners of the show. Katelyn singled out Oyin as her top pick, stating, “I genuinely think Oyin is probably one of the best faithfuls that’s been in any of the territories.” Meanwhile, Christine expressed her support for female contestants, declaring, “I’m team girls. All the girls, any one of the girls, just team girls.”
Andrew echoed Katelyn’s sentiment, identifying both Oyin and Kelley as strong contenders due to their trustworthiness among the remaining players. Paudie, however, took a more cautious approach, saying, “It’s just very hard to call. They are all excellent!”
Despite the engaging content, viewer reactions quickly turned sour due to the interview’s brevity. Fans took to social media to voice their displeasure, with one viewer lamenting, “Was looking forward to the Traitors interview and Paddy sends the four of them packing after three/four mins.” Another added, “What a letdown, you watch the Late Late for a change just for The Traitors Ireland crew and they barely got five mins.” A third viewer echoed this sentiment, stating, “Is it just me or was the traitors interview far too short! Hi welcome to the show ok bye! What a let down!”
The discontent among fans highlights the emotional investment many have in the reality series, which has captured the attention of audiences across Ireland. As discussions continue online, viewers are left wondering if the show will provide more in-depth coverage of the contestants in upcoming episodes.
As the Late Late Show gears up for future interviews, fans are eager for a more substantial look at their favorite players. Stay tuned for updates as the Traitors Ireland drama unfolds!
