Cork.

Victoria shared touching memories, stating, “She loved Shane like a sister, and he adored her. The grief-stricken Clarke continued, “I’m devastated without her and she will leave an enormous void in our lives.” She also thanked the staff at The Mater Hospital and St. Vincent’s Hospital for their care during Vanessa’s “fearless battle” with cancer.

A death notice on RIP.ie detailed that Vanessa passed away surrounded by her closest family members. It described her as “a formidable and inspirational woman of immense resilience, empathy, and warmth.” The notice highlighted the profound impact she had on her family and friends, stating that her legacy of love and kindness will be dearly missed.

Close friends and family members, including singer Imelda May, have expressed their condolences, emphasizing the vibrant spirit Vanessa brought into their lives. May remarked, “She was so vivacious, beaming with love. She’ll be missed by many.”
