Kalvin Phillips Misses Carabao Cup Match for Second Child’s Birth

Kalvin Phillips will miss Manchester City’s upcoming Carabao Cup match against Huddersfield as he prepares to welcome his second child. The midfielder, who has not played for City since December 2023, has traveled to London for the birth, marking a significant moment for his family.

Phillips has faced challenges securing playing time with Manchester City, having spent the last season on loan at Ipswich Town. He managed only 19 appearances during that stint, contributing to his team’s struggles which ultimately resulted in relegation.
