New Cost Rental Homes Launch in Kilkenny City: Applications Open

An application process has commenced for twelve new Cost Rental homes at Burrells Walk, located on the Callan Road in Kilkenny City. Prospective tenants can apply for one of six newly constructed two-bedroom apartments, available at a monthly rent of €1,200, or one of six three-bedroom duplexes, renting for €1,350 per month. This pricing represents a significant 25% discount compared to similar properties in the region.
Residents of these newly built, A-rated homes will not only benefit from reduced rental costs but also enjoy secure, life-long tenancies. Additionally, they will receive high-quality management and maintenance services, ensuring a comfortable living environment.
Collaboration for Affordable Housing
The development of these Cost Rental homes is a collaborative effort led by Clúid in partnership with Kilkenny County Council. This initiative has also received support from the Department of Housing, Heritage and Local Government, the Housing Agency, and the Housing Finance Agency. Such partnerships aim to address the ongoing housing crisis by providing affordable options for residents.
Applications for these homes must be submitted by 5 PM on October 1, 2023. Interested individuals are encouraged to act promptly to secure their opportunity for affordable housing in Kilkenny City.
The introduction of these homes marks a positive step towards enhancing the availability of affordable housing in the area, contributing to the broader effort to make quality living spaces accessible to more individuals and families.
