Complete Laboratory Solutions to Create 140 Jobs in Galway by 2026

Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS) has announced plans to create up to 140 new jobs at its facility in Galway City over the next three years. This significant expansion will increase the company’s workforce to a total of 400 employees, marking one of the most notable growth phases in its 30-year history.
Evelyn O’Toole, Founder and CEO of CLS, stated, “This marks one of the most exciting phases in CLS’s journey, as we scale from a national success story to a global player.” The company is recognized for delivering testing, training, consultancy, and resourcing solutions to leading clients across several sectors, including the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Environmental, and Food and Beverage industries.
Investment in Growth and Upskilling
The announcement comes on the heels of a €9 million upskilling programme, which received support from IDA Ireland. This initiative aims to enhance the skills of the existing workforce while preparing for the influx of new employees. The upskilling programme reflects the company’s commitment to maintaining high standards in a competitive market.
CLS operates not only in Galway but also has facilities in Ros Muc and Dublin. The company’s base at the IDA Business Park on the Tuam Road has become a hub for innovation and service delivery in the region.
Aiming for Global Reach
With this expansion, CLS is positioning itself to further penetrate international markets. By ramping up its workforce and capabilities, the company aims to solidify its status as a key player on the global stage. The new jobs are expected to cover various roles, enhancing the company’s operational capacity and allowing it to meet the growing demands of its client base.
This strategic move not only illustrates CLS’s growth ambitions but also highlights the broader economic development in the region. Job creation in Galway reflects a positive trend in local employment and investment, suggesting robust prospects for the future.
As Complete Laboratory Solutions embarks on this new chapter, the focus remains on delivering quality service while fostering a skilled workforce prepared for the challenges of tomorrow. This expansion is a testament to the company’s vision and commitment to excellence in the laboratory solutions sector.
