Complete Laboratory Solutions to Create 140 Jobs in Galway

Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS) has announced plans to create up to 140 new jobs at its facility in Galway City over the next three years. This significant expansion will increase the company’s workforce to a total of 400 employees, marking a pivotal moment in its 30-year history.
“This marks one of the most exciting phases in CLS’s journey, as we scale from a national success story to a global player,” stated Evelyn O’Toole, Founder and CEO of CLS. The new positions will support the company’s continued growth in the testing, training, consultancy, and resourcing sectors, servicing clients in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Environmental, and Food and Beverage industries.
Strategic Location and Support Initiatives
The CLS facility is situated at the IDA Business Park on the Tuam Road, a strategic location that supports its operational needs. In addition to its Galway facility, CLS also operates in Ros Muc and Dublin, further expanding its reach across the country.
The announcement follows a significant investment in employee development, with a €9 million upskilling programme backed by IDA Ireland. This initiative aims to enhance the skills of existing employees while preparing new hires for the evolving demands of the industry.
The decision to expand comes at a time when the demand for high-quality testing and consultancy services is on the rise globally. As CLS positions itself as a leader in these sectors, the new jobs will not only contribute to local employment but also bolster the company’s capacity to serve an international clientele effectively.
Future Prospects for CLS
The expansion is expected to create various roles across different functions, contributing to the local economy and reinforcing Galway’s status as a hub for innovation and industry. With a focus on quality and expertise, CLS is set to enhance its service offerings and strengthen its position in the competitive landscape.
As the company embarks on this new chapter, the investment in its workforce reflects a commitment to fostering talent and sustaining growth. The development highlights the importance of collaboration between businesses and government agencies, ensuring that local economies thrive through strategic initiatives and job creation.
In summary, the announcement of 140 new jobs positions Complete Laboratory Solutions as a key player in Galway’s economic landscape, promising a bright future for both the company and the community it serves.
