Complete Laboratory Solutions to Create 140 Jobs in Galway

Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS) has announced plans to create up to 140 new jobs at its facility in Galway City over the next three years. This expansion will increase the company’s total workforce to approximately 400 employees, marking a significant milestone in its three-decade history.
Strategic Expansion and Workforce Growth
The announcement was made by Evelyn O’Toole, the founder and CEO of CLS, who emphasized the importance of this development. “This marks one of the most exciting phases in CLS’s journey, as we scale from a national success story to a global player,” she stated. The new positions will support the company’s continued growth as it enhances its service offerings to clients in various sectors.
CLS provides a range of services including testing, training, consultancy, and resourcing solutions for clients that are leaders in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Environmental, and Food and Beverage industries. The company operates from its base at the IDA Business Park on Tuam Road, and also maintains facilities in Ros Muc and Dublin.
Investment in Skills Development
The job creation initiative follows a significant investment of €9 million in an upskilling program, which is supported by IDA Ireland. This program aims to enhance the skills of the current workforce while preparing for the influx of new employees. The investment underscores CLS’s commitment to fostering talent and innovation within the region.
As the company prepares for this expansion, it aims to solidify its position in the global market by leveraging its expertise and resources. The new roles will not only contribute to the local economy but also enhance CLS’s capability to meet the growing demands of its international client base.
With this expansion, CLS is poised to play a pivotal role in the economic landscape of Galway and beyond, reflecting the region’s strength as a hub for industry and innovation.
