Complete Laboratory Solutions Expands with 140 New Jobs in Galway

Complete Laboratory Solutions (CLS) has announced plans to create up to 140 new jobs at its facility in Galway City over the next three years. This significant expansion will increase the company’s workforce to a total of 400 employees, marking a notable milestone in its 30-year history.
Evelyn O’Toole, Founder and CEO of CLS, described this development as an exciting phase for the company. “This marks one of the most exciting phases in CLS’s journey, as we scale from a national success story to a global player,” O’Toole stated. The new positions will support CLS in enhancing its service offerings across various sectors, including the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Environmental, and Food and Beverage industries.
Investment and Growth Strategy
The announcement follows a substantial investment of €9 million in an upskilling programme, which has been supported by IDA Ireland. This initiative aims to equip current and future employees with the necessary skills to meet the evolving demands of the industry. The facility, located at the IDA Business Park on the Tuam Road, is central to CLS’s operations. Additionally, the company has facilities in Ros Muc and Dublin.
CLS provides a wide range of services, including testing, training, consultancy, and resourcing solutions for clients who are leaders in their fields. With the expansion set to commence, the company is positioning itself for further growth and increased competitiveness on a global scale.
The creation of these jobs is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy, providing opportunities for skilled professionals in the Galway region. As CLS continues to grow, the company aims to contribute to the development of Ireland’s reputation as a hub for innovation and excellence in various industries.
Overall, the expansion underscores CLS’s commitment to fostering talent and enhancing its capabilities to meet the needs of its international clientele.
