Additional Tickets Released for Kilkenny’s Concert Extravaganza

Tickets for the highly anticipated Castle Park Concert featuring ‘SPRINGSTEEN – A TRIBUTE’ will be available again this Friday, October 3, 2023, at 10:00. The limited number of additional tickets can be purchased at www.savourkilkenny.com. This concert is part of Savour the Night, an initiative aimed at enhancing Kilkenny’s night-time economy, and will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2023.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Kilkenny Castle, this open-air concert promises to illuminate the city after dark, showcasing the talents of one of Ireland’s leading tribute bands. The event not only provides entertainment but also celebrates Kilkenny’s recognition as the Home of Halloween, featuring a costume competition for attendees. Organisers encourage ticket holders to come dressed in their best costumes for a chance to win exciting prizes.
In addition to the festive atmosphere, this year’s concert aims to support the local community. Proceeds from the event will benefit Cois Nore, Kilkenny’s cancer support service, which is currently fundraising €2 million for a new facility located on Waterford Road. Bill Cuddihy, Chairperson of Cois Nore, highlighted the spirit of community support in Kilkenny, stating, “We believe that goodwill is woven into the fabric of Kilkenny. It’s the neighbour who brings dinner. It’s the friend who drives someone to chemotherapy. It’s everyone who sees themselves in the journey, even if they’ve never walked it.”
As the concert date approaches, it is important to note that once these additional tickets sell out, there will be no further ticket releases. This event not only promises an unforgettable evening of music and entertainment but also serves as a vital fundraising opportunity for a worthy cause within the Kilkenny community.
