The incident occurred around 2 PM as the young boy, believed to be under two years old, was struck by a vehicle.

Rest easy beautiful boy you will be greatly missed beyond words.”

“Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal road traffic incident outside a residence in Rathmintin, Jobstown, Dublin 24 that occurred at approximately 2 PM this afternoon,”

stated a representative from Gardaí. A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to support the grieving family during this incredibly difficult time.

Funeral arrangements have been confirmed. Theo will be reposing at O’Dwyer & Sons on Friday from 2 PM to 6 PM for family and friends. His funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 11, at 10 AM in Saint Thomas’ Church, followed by burial at Newland’s Cross.
