Beau Greaves Secures Spot in PDC World Darts Championship

Beau Greaves has officially accepted an invitation to compete in the PDC World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace later this year. The announcement follows her impressive performance at the World Youth Championship, where she averaged 105 to defeat reigning world champion Luke Littler in a thrilling semi-final match, clinching victory in a decisive final leg.
The Professional Darts Corporation confirmed Greaves’ participation in the championship, along with her newly secured tour card for the 2026 and 2027 seasons. In a statement from her management firm, Opus Sports Management, it was noted, “After securing her tour card for 2026/2027, and after much speculation, we are excited to officially announce that Beau will be competing in the PDC World Championship 2025/26.” The team expressed confidence in her decision, emphasizing the support of the management behind her burgeoning career.
At just 21 years old, Greaves has made history by becoming only the second woman to earn a PDC Tour Card purely on merit. She finished as the runner-up in the Development Tour rankings, having won three tournaments during an outstanding competitive season. This achievement guarantees her a spot on the professional circuit for two years starting in the 2026 season, following Lisa Ashton, who earned her card through Q School in 2020.
The announcement also highlights Greaves’ qualification for the upcoming Grand Slam of Darts, where she topped the PDC Women’s Series Order of Merit this year. Littler publicly praised her after her victory, acknowledging her talent and wishing her well for future competitions.
Greaves has garnered attention throughout 2025 for her exceptional performances, including reaching the fourth round of the UK Open in Minehead, where she defeated notable players like Stefan Bellmont and Mickey Mansell before narrowly losing to Luke Humphries with a score of 10-7. She also made history as the first female player to reach the World Youth Championship final, scheduled for November 23 against reigning champion Gian van Veen.
Her remarkable achievements in 2025 include winning two events on the PDC Challenge Tour and dominating the PDC Women’s Series, where she has secured a staggering 14 victories out of 20 events thus far. With four additional events still to be played, Greaves has built an impressive winning streak, having not lost a match in her last 58 contests.
Looking ahead, the next major televised event, the Grand Slam of Darts, will take place in Wolverhampton from November 8 to 16, followed by the PDC World Darts Championship, which runs from December 11 to January 3. This championship marks Greaves’ second appearance at the iconic Ally Pally venue, where she aims to further establish her reputation in the sport.
As the PDC World Darts Championship approaches, the excitement surrounding Greaves continues to grow, with fans eager to see how she performs on one of the sport’s biggest stages. The upcoming events promise thrilling action as Greaves looks to solidify her place among the elite in professional darts.
