Urgent Update: Man in 40s Dies After Car Strikes Pedestrian in Carlow
UPDATE: A man in his 40s has tragically died after being struck by a car in a serious road traffic collision in Ballyroughan Big, County Carlow, yesterday afternoon, November 1, 2025, at 4:30 PM. The incident occurred on the R703 road, prompting an immediate investigation by Gardaí.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving the local community in shock. The coroner has been notified, and a post-mortem examination is expected to be conducted shortly. The driver involved, a woman in her 60s, was unharmed in the collision.
