Jennifer Wrynne Launches Charity Necklace to Support Breast Cancer Research
Jennifer Wrynne unveiled her new Dylan Oaks Infinity Necklace at a launch event held at The Apartment in Kildare Village, with the aim of raising funds to combat breast cancer. The 36-year-old influencer and mother of four has been vocal about her own battle with the disease, having been diagnosed just months after the birth of her youngest child. Following surgery in July 2023, she is currently undergoing treatment and uses her platform of nearly 150,000 Instagram followers to promote awareness about early detection and research.
Collaboration for a Cause
In a notable charitable effort, the Irish jewellery brand Dylan Oaks has committed to donating 100% of the retail price of the necklace, set at €98, directly to the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI). This initiative aims to support vital research in Ireland, where currently, 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime. Each year, more than 3,500 cases are detected, and that number continues to rise.
During the launch, a number of prominent figures from the entertainment industry attended to show their support, including Lisa McGowan, Glenda Gilson accompanied by her mother Aileen, Martin King, and Jenny McCarthy. The event not only celebrated the launch of the necklace but also highlighted the importance of community and solidarity in the fight against breast cancer.
A Message of Hope
Wrynne expressed her pride in collaborating with Dylan Oaks, stating, “I am so proud to partner with Dylan Oaks on this beautiful Infinity Necklace in support of the NBCRI. Dylan Oaks has been by my side for years, and their support during my breast cancer journey means everything to me.” She emphasized that the necklace symbolizes the “unbreakable bond of support” she has felt throughout her treatment, as well as the hope shared by those facing similar challenges.
She added, “I’m incredibly grateful to every person who purchases this piece – together we’re making a real difference in the fight against this disease.” This initiative not only raises funds but also fosters awareness about the importance of breast cancer research and early detection.
For those interested in supporting the cause, the necklace is available for purchase online. Photographs from the launch event, captured by Brian McEvoy, are featured in a gallery accompanying this article.
