Man Faces Long Road to Recovery After Wasp Sting Triggers Cardiac Arrest
UPDATE: A man is fighting for his life after suffering a cardiac arrest triggered by a wasp sting. The shocking incident occurred while Sham Ryan was working, leading to anaphylactic shock and subsequent cardiac arrest.
Emergency services swiftly airlifted Sham to Cork University Hospital, where medical professionals fought desperately to save him. He is currently awaiting intensive rehabilitation at the National Rehabilitation Centre in Dun Laoghaire, South Dublin.
