UPDATE: Vogue Williams is set to enter the I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! camp on November 20, marking her debut alongside Tom Read Wilson. The popular Irish presenter, who recently turned 40, is preparing to leave her home life behind, a transition that brings both excitement and a wave of anxiety.

Williams has been busy preparing for her time in the jungle, tackling Christmas shopping and meal planning for her family of five, including husband Spencer Matthews and their three young children: son Theodore, aged 6, daughter Gigi, aged 4, and youngest son Otto, aged 3. Despite her organizational skills, it is the impending separation from her children that weighs heavily on her mind.

“My only real worry is missing the kids and missing Spencer,” she shared. “I have organised everything down to a tee so I do not have to worry when I get back.” As a mother, the thought of being away from her children presents a new challenge, one that surpasses any fear of the notorious Bushtucker Trials.

In a light-hearted manner, Williams revealed her playful side, expressing a desire to stir things up in the camp. “I would not mind causing a bit of mischief, a bit like Traitors vibes,” she joked, hinting at her strategy to embrace the game.

While preparing her children for her absence, she faced the challenge of managing their excitement. “I had to be careful telling my kids because they have a bigger mouth than me,” she laughed. Watching the previous series with her children made them eager for her adventure, particularly at the prospect of her facing trials with rats.

This shift in her daily routine feels surreal to Williams, who is used to being in charge of her family’s schedule. “It is such a strange feeling,” she admitted. “I have got this massive responsibility, and it is a really strange feeling not to have to do that. It is very relaxing.”

Turning 40 has prompted Williams to step outside her comfort zone. “I am too comfortable in life,” she said, noting her usual sleeping habits include four pillows. “I think you have to push yourself out of your comfort zone,” she added.

The experience promises to be a departure from her structured life. “I don’t know if I am going to be flung off a building,” she remarked, acknowledging the uncertainty that comes with the show. “It is really weird for me to have all of that taken away.”

Interestingly, she noted one unexpected benefit: the confiscation of her phone has not been a burden. “I have not watched the last two episodes of Selling Sunset but we will wait till I get back,” she said with a shrug.

Williams is aware that her usual emotional stability might be tested in the jungle. “You do not really know how you are going to be affected by things such as no sugar, or even salt,” she explained. “I am quite a stable person emotionally, but I think going in there and having all that taken away might be difficult.”

As for her home comforts, she has a clear list of what she will miss most: “Coffee in the morning, the four pillows, my really comfortable bed, a nice toilet that I do not have to share with anyone, my LED face mask, food, loads of food, I love eating,” she revealed.

Tune in to I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! airing at 9 PM on ITV1 and ITVX to catch Vogue Williams’ jungle journey unfold. With her entering the camp, viewers can expect drama, laughter, and perhaps a bit of mischief.
