Blue Insurance has introduced new benefits for holders of its Premier Plus travel insurance policies, enhancing customer experience and flexibility. The company is set to launch two key features aimed at providing added value to policyholders.

New Flight Delay Benefit

One of the standout additions is a real-time flight delay benefit. Effective shortly, if a registered flight is delayed by more than three hours beyond the scheduled departure time, policyholders will receive an automatic notification via SMS and email. This communication will offer customers a choice between VIP airport lounge access or a cash payment of €30 if lounge access is unavailable. This initiative aims to alleviate some of the stress associated with travel disruptions.

Extended Trip Duration

In addition to the flight delay benefit, Blue Insurance is extending the standard trip duration for its annual multi-trip policies from 60 days to 70 days. This change is designed to provide greater flexibility for customers who need longer trips without the need for additional coverage. Both enhancements reflect the company’s commitment to adapting its offerings to meet customer needs.

Moreover, Blue Insurance is planning to launch a new Web Chat feature on its Agent Portal. This addition will enable insurance agents to communicate directly with the company in real-time, enhancing support and improving response times for queries.
