Mystery Package Pop-Up Shop Launches in Dublin Next Week
A unique shopping experience is set to arrive in Dublin next week, as global retailer King Colis opens its first-ever pop-up shop. This innovative store allows customers to purchase unopened mystery packages, providing an exciting opportunity for bargain hunters and treasure seekers alike. The pop-up will be located at The Square Shopping Centre in Tallaght and will operate for six days, from December 9 to December 14, 2024.
King Colis, a French company renowned for selling lost and opened online parcels by weight, has gained popularity for its eco-friendly approach to reselling lost goods. The retailer recovers unsold and unopened packages from e-commerce businesses that would otherwise be discarded. By offering these packages at competitive prices, King Colis promotes sustainability while providing customers with the thrill of discovery.
Prices for the mystery packages will start at just €2.49 per 100 grams, making it an affordable option for those looking to indulge in a bit of retail adventure. Additionally, customers can purchase fast pass tickets for €15, allowing them to skip the queue and dive straight into the excitement of unboxing their surprises.
Shopping Hours and Package Contents
The Dublin pop-up shop will be open daily with varying hours: from 09:00 to 18:00 on Tuesday, 09:00 to 19:00 on Wednesday, and extended hours to 21:00 on Thursday and Friday. Saturday will see the shop operating from 09:00 to 19:00, while the final day, Sunday, will have hours from 11:00 to 18:00.
King Colis has described the unboxing experience as an adventure, stating, “When you buy lost packages, you never know what you’re going to receive: high tech items, jewelry, clothes, shoes, handbags, gadgets, video games, or collector’s items. Every unboxing is a new adventure.” The company has even reported instances where valuable items, including real gold, have been found in the unopened packages.
This pop-up initiative reflects King Colis’s commitment to sustainability. The company emphasizes its eco-friendly practices by operating 100% eco-designed stores, fighting against waste while providing consumers with a fun shopping experience. Shoppers interested in joining this treasure hunt can order lost packages online or visit the pop-up shop for an in-person experience.
As Dublin gears up for this unique retail event, consumers are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to engage in a sustainable shopping experience that promises excitement and surprise.
