Oranmore Photography Club Secures National Silver and Bronze Awards
The Solas Photography Club in Oranmore has garnered national recognition by winning a silver and a bronze trophy at the prestigious Irish Photographic Federation National Shield competition. This achievement highlights the club’s dedication and talent within the photographic community.
Accolades at the National Level
The club secured the silver award in the Monochrome category, showcasing its members’ skill in capturing images devoid of color while emphasizing contrast and texture. The bronze award was earned in the Colour category, reflecting the club’s versatility in different photographic styles.
Individual members also shone in the competition. Michael Gough, Owen Nally, and Enda O’Loughlin received commendations for their outstanding individual images, further solidifying the club’s reputation for excellence.
