Lufthansa has launched its revamped Premium Check-in Area at Frankfurt Airport, located in Terminal 1, Hall A. This modernised space aims to elevate the travel experience for First Class passengers, HON Circle members, Senators, and Star Alliance Gold customers, offering enhanced comfort and efficiency.

Francesco Sciortino, Hub Manager Frankfurt and Accountable Manager for Lufthansa Airlines, emphasised the airline’s commitment to passenger experience, stating, “Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. With the new Premium Check-in Area, we have created a space for our guests that combines comfort, efficiency, and personalized service at the highest level.” The reopening signifies a significant milestone in the partnership between Lufthansa and Fraport, the airport operator.

Stephanie Pudwitz, Head of Central Infrastructure Management at Fraport AG, highlighted the collaborative efforts in developing the space. She remarked, “The new Lufthansa product shows how cooperation based on partnership can produce innovative solutions. Together, we are setting standards for comfort and service for the benefit of our guests at Frankfurt Airport.”

Enhanced Features for Travelers

The Premium Check-in Area introduces several standout features designed to cater to customer needs. A spacious section with changing rooms allows passengers to refresh themselves or make quick outfit changes before their flights, addressing a frequently expressed desire among travelers.

The area also boasts stylish high tables equipped with charging stations and comfortable seating, creating a serene atmosphere ideal for relaxation or meetings prior to departure. Additionally, the check-in area offers direct access from Parking Lot P31, conveniently situated next to the terminal.

Lufthansa staff are readily available at new service bars to assist with individual needs, while exclusive baggage machines ensure a smooth and convenient baggage drop-off process. This combination of modern design and personalised service aims to make the travel experience more enjoyable and flexible for guests of Lufthansa Group Airlines.

Return of the Business Lounge

Alongside the opening of the Premium Check-in Area, status customers and Business Class passengers can return to the Lufthansa Business Lounge at Gate A13. This lounge has undergone a brief renovation and now integrates seamlessly into Lufthansa’s comprehensive service offering. It provides various opportunities for relaxation, work, and flight preparation, enhancing the overall airport experience for travelers.

The improvements at Frankfurt Airport reflect Lufthansa’s dedication to providing top-tier service and comfort, ensuring that its guests enjoy a premium experience from the moment they arrive at the airport. As travel demands evolve, Lufthansa continues to adapt and innovate, positioning itself as a leader in the airline industry.
