Dublin Bus Unveils Holiday Schedule Changes for 2023
Dublin Bus has announced adjustments to its service schedule for the Christmas and New Year period, impacting routes and operational hours. These changes will be in effect from December 23, 2023, to January 1, 2024, allowing passengers to plan their journeys effectively during the festive season.
Service Changes Over the Festive Period
The altered schedule aims to accommodate the increased demand for public transport during the holidays. On December 25, Dublin Bus will not operate any services in observance of Christmas Day. However, limited services will resume on December 26, with specific routes running from 10:00 to 18:00.
Additionally, on January 1, the bus company will run a reduced service starting at 11:00. Passengers are encouraged to check the specific routes and times on the Dublin Bus website to ensure they are informed about any changes that may affect their travel plans.
Planning Ahead for Holiday Travel
The adjustments come as Dublin Bus anticipates higher passenger numbers during the holiday season. As families and friends gather to celebrate, many will rely on public transport to reach their destinations. The company urges all passengers to plan their journeys in advance and remain aware of the altered schedules.
Dublin Bus provides a vital service to the community, ensuring accessibility during one of the busiest times of the year. With the new schedule, the company aims to maintain a smooth and efficient transport network throughout Dublin.
For more information on the updated schedule, passengers can visit the official Dublin Bus website or consult local transport apps for real-time updates.
