Nikita Hand has announced that she is expecting a child with her partner, Gary Foy. The 36-year-old shared the news on Instagram, posting a picture of an ultrasound scan. The couple is looking forward to welcoming their baby on June 4, 2026.

In her Instagram post, Ms. Hand expressed her excitement, stating, “Gary and I are so excited to share that we’re having a baby. Everything is finally falling into place, and it feels like we’ve reached our happy ending.” She reflected on the challenges of the past few years, emphasizing that “every moment has been worth it.”

Ms. Hand, who is also a mother to 14-year-old Freya, extended her gratitude to those who have supported her. “Your love and kindness have meant the world,” she wrote. She also mentioned her anticipation for a peaceful Christmas, something she has not experienced in seven years.

The announcement comes shortly after a significant legal ruling involving Ms. Hand and former UFC champion Conor McGregor. The Supreme Court recently declined to grant further appeals from McGregor and his associate, James Lawrence, regarding the outcome of a civil rape case against them. The court determined that neither man had raised matters of general public importance that warranted further appeal, effectively concluding the legal process.

In response to the court’s ruling, Ms. Hand commented, “After seven years seeking justice, accountability and peace, I am pleased to say that the Irish civil justice system has allowed my voice to be heard.” She noted that the ruling provided her with a sense of vindication, contributing to her healing process.

“The public and private roads that I and my loved ones have travelled have been long and painful,” she stated. “Today marks not a victory for me but for all of those who have been treated as I have. You are never alone on your journey, if you choose not to be. Help and support is there.”

In November 2022, a High Court jury found that Ms. Hand had been raped by McGregor at a Dublin hotel in 2018, awarding her close to €250,000 in damages. McGregor was also ordered to cover her legal costs, estimated at around €1.5 million. Although Lawrence was found not guilty of rape, he was denied his legal costs as his evidence aligned with McGregor’s account, which the jury rejected.

This dual narrative of new beginnings and resolved legal battles highlights the complexities of Ms. Hand’s recent experiences. As she prepares for motherhood, she remains a figure of resilience in the face of adversity.
