Nikita Hand has revealed she is expecting a child with her partner, Gary Foy. The announcement came on social media, where the 36-year-old shared a picture of an ultrasound scan. The couple is set to welcome their new addition on June 4, 2026.

In her heartfelt Instagram post, Ms. Hand expressed her joy, stating, “Gary and I are so excited to share that we’re having a baby. Everything is finally falling into place, and it feels like we’ve reached our happy ending.” She reflected on the challenges of the past few years, noting that every moment has been worthwhile.

A mother to a 14-year-old daughter named Freya, Ms. Hand extended her gratitude to those who have supported her throughout her journey. “Your love and kindness have meant the world,” she wrote. She also mentioned her anticipation for a peaceful Christmas, emphasizing the couple’s happiness as they look forward to the arrival of their baby.

Legal Developments and Personal Triumph

The announcement follows a significant legal decision involving Ms. Hand. Just days prior, the Supreme Court declined to grant MMA fighter Conor McGregor and his friend James Lawrence further appeals concerning the outcome of a civil case brought by Ms. Hand. The court determined that neither individual presented a matter of public importance that justified additional appeals, effectively concluding the legal process.

Ms. Hand, reflecting on the Supreme Court’s decision, stated, “After seven years seeking justice, accountability and peace, I am pleased to say that the Irish civil justice system has allowed my voice to be heard.” She described the outcome as a form of vindication and part of her healing process.

“The public and private roads that I and my loved ones have travelled have been long and painful. Today marks not a victory for me but for all of those who have been treated as I have,” she added. Her statements conveyed a sense of solidarity with others who have faced similar experiences and highlighted the importance of the judicial system.

In November 2022, a High Court jury found that Ms. Hand had been raped by McGregor at a Dublin hotel in 2018. The jury awarded her close to €250,000 in damages and ordered McGregor to cover her legal costs, estimated to be around €1.5 million. While Lawrence was found not guilty of rape, he was denied his legal costs due to his evidence supporting McGregor’s account, which the jury rejected.

As Ms. Hand embarks on this new chapter of her life, she embodies resilience and hope for the future, both for herself and those who have supported her journey. The anticipation of welcoming a new child marks a significant turning point, promising joy and new beginnings for her family.
