Irish Parrot’s Shocking Anti-Vaping Rant Goes Viral

UPDATE: An Irish parrot named Lucky Angel has become an unlikely viral sensation after unleashing a foul-mouthed tirade against vaping, shocking its owner and guests alike. The eight-year-old African Grey’s immediate reaction to e-cigarettes has raised eyebrows and garnered attention online.
Marie Mcaleavey, aged 51, from Warrenpoint, Co Down, first witnessed Lucky Angel’s intense aversion to vaping when a friend pulled out an e-cigarette during a visit. The moment escalated quickly as the bird, visibly agitated, shouted “no vape” and told the guest to “p*ss off.”
“I was making tea and heard him go ballistic,” Marie recounted. “He flew around the room, his feathers all ruffled. It was unbelievable!” The incident, which occurred earlier this month, highlights the bird’s keen sensitivity to smells and his outspoken personality.
Authorities in the pet community have long noted that parrots are incredibly intelligent and sensitive creatures. Marie, who identifies as an “anti-vaper,” emphasized that Lucky Angel’s behavior indicates a strong instinct against vaping. “If a vape comes into the room, I almost have to wash his mouth out,” she said, stressing the potential dangers of vaping.
In a surprising twist, the retired interior designer also revealed that Lucky Angel reacts negatively even to images depicting lung damage caused by vaping. “I showed him a picture of a damaged lung and he nearly tore it down, screaming ‘no vape,’” she added.
Lucky Angel, who has been living with Marie since 2016, was initially adopted on a whim. “I wanted an animal that lives longer than a cat or dog, and I thought it would be fun to hear him talk,” Marie explained. “He’s not just clever; he’s witty and picks up on everything, especially naughty words.”
The bird’s unique responses are captivating not only to his owner but also to the wider public, sparking significant online interest. The incident has encouraged discussions surrounding vaping and its perceived risks, prompting many to reconsider their habits in the presence of animals.
As news of Lucky Angel’s anti-vaping stance spreads, it raises questions about animal awareness and the effects of vaping on both pets and humans. “It shows how dangerous vaping is,” Marie warned. “Whatever is coming out of those vapes must be really bad.”
With Lucky Angel’s newfound fame, many are now following his story closely, eager to see what he might say next. This extraordinary parrot is not just a pet; he’s becoming a symbol of anti-vaping sentiment.
As this story continues to develop, expect more insights into Lucky Angel’s life and his outspoken views on vaping, making it a topic to watch.
