Irish Player Wins €1,005,000 EuroMillions Jackpot in Sligo!

BREAKING: An Irish player has just become a millionaire, winning a staggering €1,005,000 in the EuroMillions draw last night. The winning ticket was purchased online in Co. Sligo on July 19, confirmed by the National Lottery.
This major win comes from the special EuroMillions Ireland Only Raffle, which guarantees a seven-figure prize to one lucky player each draw night. The winning raffle ticket number is I-SLF-56168. A spokesperson for the National Lottery expressed excitement, stating, “What a night for our players! We’ve got a brand-new millionaire in Sligo thanks to the Ireland Only Raffle.”
In addition to this remarkable win, €500,000 was awarded to another fortunate player in Co. Louth, who matched all five numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw. This player purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket from Applegreen on Old Newry Road in Dundalk.
Last night’s EuroMillions Plus winning numbers were 4, 5, 15, 16, and 40. The National Lottery reported that a total of 70 players won €2,000 each by matching four numbers, while 3,290 players received €20 for matching three.
No one won the overall EuroMillions jackpot, which was worth €166,241,768, but over 67,000 players walked away with various prizes across both EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws.
For winners claiming prizes over €15,000, it’s essential to contact the National Lottery Claims Department at 1800 666 222, available Monday to Friday from 9:15 AM to 5:30 PM.
