Ireland Welcomes New Millionaire Following EuroMillions Draw

A new millionaire has emerged in Ireland after the latest EuroMillions Ireland-Only raffle, as confirmed by the National Lottery. The winning ticket, valued at an impressive €1,005,000, was purchased online on July 19, 2023, by a player from Co Sligo. The ticket number is I-SLF-56168.
The National Lottery has contacted the winner via a notification and confirmation email. The winner is encouraged to reach out to the National Lottery prize claims team at 1800 666 222 or via email at [email protected] to arrange for the collection of their prize.
Additional Wins and Exciting Draw Outcomes
The EuroMillions draw on Friday night featured a special Ireland-Only raffle event, which also resulted in another significant win. A participant who held a unique raffle ticket number won €5,000, and in addition, an extra €1 million was added to their prize, further enhancing the excitement of the evening.
The Sligo winner represents the 16th National Lottery millionaire in Ireland this year. In a parallel success, a player in Co Louth won €500,000 after matching all five numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw. This winning ticket, purchased as a Quick Pick on July 26, 2023, from Applegreen on Old Newry Road in Dundalk, was also part of a thrilling night for lottery enthusiasts.
The winning numbers for the EuroMillions Plus draw were 4, 5, 15, 16, and 40. Although the main EuroMillions jackpot, exceeding €166 million, did not yield a winner, over 67,000 players across both the EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws received prizes.
Darragh O’Dwyer, spokesperson for the National Lottery, expressed enthusiasm about the results. “What a night for our players! We’ve got a brand-new millionaire in Sligo thanks to the Ireland-Only Raffle, and a brilliant €500,000 win in Louth from the EuroMillions Plus draw,” he stated. “That’s €1.5 million in top-tier prizes heading to two counties in one night! We’re absolutely thrilled and can’t wait to meet our latest winners, including Ireland’s newest millionaire!”
As the excitement from the EuroMillions continues, players are urged to stay engaged for future draws and opportunities, keeping the thrill of winning alive across the nation.
